The end of summer brings so many thoughts and memories. Personally speaking, i had an extremely challenging summer. Plenty of people that i know, experienced major changes this year so far. I do hope that with a new season approaching us, that your lives are filled with peace and good health and lots of genuine love. My personal life has turned around for the better and I'm ever so grateful for that. Thank you for your patience with me, during a very grueling and disgustingly hot summer. (Miss Christine does not do well in humid heat...her wings melt)
So, tell me your thoughts on Lord Oliver's new gates at the salon. Everyone thus far, is digging them and the craftsmanship behind them was simple and affordable. Oliver wants to personally thank all of you, for allowing him to sit on your laps, for playing with him, for adoring him, for his gifts and his treats from everyone and for simply making the salon an even more enjoyable place to visit.
OK everyone, the last Gallery Crawl of the year is fast approaching. I am personally ever so pleased to announce and evening of "Crimson", see "GALLERY CRAWL" info below. The evening consists of 5 incredible artists, and their version of the feminine beauty and body. Opera music, a cotton candy machine and dim lights will coax you into an all encompassing sensory journey of beauty. I'm looking forward to ......watching you enjoy this art exhibit.
To all new and existing guests...holiday get-togethers and dinners and events and parties are just around the corner. All hours are booking up months in advance at Salon Christine; morning/afternoon and especially evening. To guarantee your personal time with us, please call in advance, or schedule through the next few months before you leave from your next appointment. We want to know that you are completely taken care of at a time slot that fits into your own very busy lives. Aveda's yummy holiday gifts will arrive sometime in October for you to give to others, or have for yourself. they make great neighbor gifts, office gifts, new mom gifts,secretary gifts or gifts for all of your best girlfriends to exchange over cocktails.
My personal favorite Aveda product for autumn, are the chakra balancing sprays and candles. For all of your 7 chakras, there is a balancing aromatherapy oil to ease and soothe into your home or body at the end of a long day. These sprays are plant based and organic, flavoring your home or body from all over the world. the candles are soy based and extra sensational when you dip your fingers into the warm wax. soy can be used as a body cream after its softened!
Our special autumn/winter treatments are beginning. warm paraffin wax manicures and pedicures, aromatherapy steam facials and hot oil scalp massages are just a few of Aveda's cool weather treats to warm up with at Salon Christine. Reaves, illustrating his select photographic works featuring,

Curtis is a Video Artist & Photographer, whose work has
been shown both locally & nationally at some of the most prestigious museums
across the country.
Curtis is best known for his traveling exhibition,
John & Sarah - A Family's Journey to Freedom and Elders - An African
American Oral History.
Some of his other accomplishments include: Being chosen as a
Millennium Artist for the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, receiving various
Artists & Residencies and conducting Community & Educational
Workshops.
Regarding this particular show, Curtis states that,
